History

CEG Accounting and Auditing Services was established in 2015 by Ms. Clarence Embang Gamboa with the vision of providing quality services to clients in the fields of accounting, auditing, taxation, and consultancy, as well as offering continuing professional development to CPAs and non-CPAs, guided by the biblical and ethical principles of an accountant. The firm began as a small office in Santiago City, quickly gaining a reputation for reliability and professionalism. Over the years, CEG Accounting and Auditing Services has achieved significant milestones. In 2016, we began catering to the tax and consultancy needs of micro-businesses in Santiago City and were also granted accreditation by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). By 2018, we had grown to serve over 20 clients. 2019, it was accredited as a CPD Provider. In December 2020, Accreditation as an External Auditor for Cooperatives was granted to Ms. Clarence Embang Gamboa. However, the pandemic impacted the firm's operations, and it began to cater exclusively to micro and small sole proprietors. In 2023, the firm began gathering its part-time audit staff and catering to around nine micro and small cooperatives in the Region. Our small firm has continuously strived to cater to the needs of our clients and adopt changes to enhance our service offerings. In 2024, Ms. Clarence E. Gamboa joined the Association of CPAs in Sustainability, demonstrating her commitment to the accounting firm's sustainability practices. Moreover, she underwent training as a forensic accountant and received certification from the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants. Today, CEG Accounting and Auditing Services operates at Bugallon Proper, Ramon, Isabela. It continues to thrive despite its size as an accounting firm, and its advocacy for educating our clients has positioned us as a trusted accounting firm in the Region, catering to a small number of clients from Isabela, Quirino, and Vizcaya.
